TOEIC® COURSE

Three courses support TOEIC® score up

The TOEIC lecture, which has been popular since its creation, is a one-on-one TOEIC curriculum developed together with TOEIC lecturers. With three courses, you can take measures against your own weaknesses such as reading, listening, speaking, writing or vocabulary skills. Each course consists of 40 multiple-choice questions, but online courses can be taken from 1 frame.

Those unable to complete it during their study abroad may continue to study online.

About teaching materials of TOEIC® COURSE

As with the actual exam, mock texts used in the lesson will be sent from the teacher using Skype’s chat function (instant message) at the beginning of the lesson in order to aid the student in developing the ability to solve problems within time.

Aim for TOEIC®! High scorer

TOEIC® Aim for Highest Scorer is a curriculum specialized for TOEIC® (Listening & Reading) exam preparation. It was developed with the goal of exceeding 720 points or up to 100 points up. For the first half 25 minutes, we will conduct reading courses (grammar filling, long sentence filling, long reading comprehension problems) and for the last 25 minutes there is a listening course (photograph depiction, response, conversation, explanation problem). Because it deals with both English input and output, students will acquire the techniques of test strategy and strengthen their speaking skills. In addition, we will nurture time management skills with each question, so as to prepare students for the actual exam.

TOEIC® course Recommended self-study learning method

Improve listening ability: Read points aloud and recite!

By singing out with “reading aloud”, students become accustomed to the pattern of English sounds, making it easier to listen to English. Repetition enables memorizing the pattern of English sentences, creating a solid foundation of English ability. To practice these, it is recommended that students read the conversation from Part 3 of the TOEIC text of QQEnglish and Part 4 many times and recite them. This makes it easier to understand conversations and production. If a student has more time, they can challenge the conversation problem (Part 3) and the explanation problem (Part 4) of the official problem books that are published. Recite emotionally and in character to help retention. Let’s remember the whole sentence!

Improve reading ability: Acquire the ability to instantly understand English structure!

Knowledge of the basic grammar is indispensable to improve reading ability, but since this is covered by QQEnglish’s TOEIC text, “slash reading” is recommended for independent learning. It is a method of dividing the English sentence into subject, verb, object, complement, modifier etc by adding a slash. By developing to become accustomed to the features of English text, students will be able to read faster and faster while anticipating “what, what to what”. If they get used to this “look ahead” approach, listening skills will also improve. This is because we can learn to grasp the structure of the English sentence coming from the ears by prefetching in a global manner; soon it becomes possible to grasp all the contents quickly.

5 minutes a day will keep you sharp at English!

Find a word you want to learn, use an international English dictionary to find a sentence including that word. Repeat it to yourself out loud. Do this every day for five minutes and you will notice your English dramatically improve!
