What is IELTS Course?

QQEnglish proudly presents the introduction of the IELTS Program

In 2015, QQEnglish proudly launched its IELTS Curriculum for the first time. With the cooperation of experts in the field, we developed learning materials to help our students improve their communication skills in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. To this day, our IELTS Team of specialists continues to update the materials regularly to ensure that our lessons are robust and up-to-date.

The in-house designed materials and curriculum have been carefully developed to match the newest methods of passing IELTS. It includes speaking, listening, reading, writing and phraseology as well as the mentioned preparatory and group classes. For fastest progress, Callan classes can be included as well.

IELTS Teachers

Aside from our continuous efforts in IELTS curriculum development, QQEnglish has concentrated its efforts in the training and development of our IELTS teachers.
All IELTS teachers go through at least ninety (90) hours of IELTS training to ensure that they are competent and well-equipped to teach the program.
Not only that but all IELTS teachers are regularly tested using official Cambridge IELTS practice tests to guarantee that each IELTS teacher at QQEnglish has first-hand IELTS exam experience.
In addition, we created a special IELTS Team in 2018 to monitor quality control and uphold high standards. With all these measures in place, QQEnglish’s teachers are able to help our student achieve their target band score of IELTS 6.5.

Our Services

To supplement the knowledge our students gain from their IELTS classes, QQEnglish offers regular IELTS mock tests for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. This helps students apply theory to practice and gives them authentic, measurable progress. QQEnglish also offers consultation with our in-house specialists to guide the students with their study plan and learning development.

QQEnglish IELTS PLAN

QQEnglish offers different study plans to suit our learner’s needs and to help them achieve their target band score. These study plans include a mixture of one-on-one classes and group classes relating to the four communications skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. We also have supplementary classes like IELTS Phraseology, which helps with building vocabulary and speaking abilities. QQEnglish has study plans that cater to all kinds of learners: from beginners with no prior experience with the IELTS, to students with IELTS experiece. No matter the learning needs, our IELTS Plans can be customized to help our students optimize their learning.

International English Language Testing System

IELTS Listening

Another IELTS course which focuses mainly on practicing and identifying strategies for the IELTS LISTENING test. It allows students to simulate themselves in the real – IELTS LISTENING-like exam by answering activities and exercises taken from some reliable IELTS Book sources. This course offers a lot of listening activities for students to gasp and be familiarized with the speed of the native English speakers. This course has 40 Lessons divided into different skills that students are expected to deal with in an IELTS Listening exam: – Question Types – Different topics (mostly about social or educational situations often set on a university campus) – A number of voices (male/female student; professor & a student, or an administrator & student) – Variety of native English accents (American, British or Australian) – Occasionally, there are some talks recorded in non- native English accents (German or Spanish) This lesson is intended for students who are aiming to improve their listening skills, in relation to taking IELTS exams

IELTS Reading

The IELTS Reading curriculum is composed of 48 Lessons, with mock tests on Days 7, 8, 17, 28, 29, 34, 34, 35, 37-41, 43-47. For days with discussion, the teacher instructs the student on everything they’ll need to know about IELTS Reading. This includes what it is, how it is graded and several strategies useful in achieving a good bandscore. For days with mock tests, the teacher serves as the examiner. He/She will check the student’s homework while they write their essays and will give feedback accordingly. Throughout this, the student is expected to bring copies of their student book with them, listen to the discussion and actively participate in the writing practices during the class. More importantly, they are required to complete their homework in a timely manner since it will be the basis of the next lesson. The curriculum aims to give students a clear overview on what IELTS Reading is and how it is graded, ensure that they understand their strengths and weakness as well as strategies to improve their writing skills through constant writing practices and feedback from a trained instructor.

IELTS Speaking

This course covers a wide range of topics including questions about themselves, hometown, family, studies, job, interest or hobbies, likes and dislikes, etc. Answering such questions helps them prepare for Part 1 of the speaking test. Students learn how to organize their speech so that it is clear, concise, well-organized and well -supported with details. Students of IELTS speaking also learn how to provide reasons of their answers and how to support it with details or examples. At the same time, students practice wide range of grammar structures and grammar items.

IELTS Writing

IELTS Phraseology

A modified IELTS Speaking Course with emphasis on lexicon. It integrates World News and IELTS by using internet news articles as reading passages and exercises while applying IELTS Speaking types of questions in Lead-in and Discussion Questions. This course has four (4) levels: Level 1 (Beginner), Level 2 (Low Intermediate). Level 3 (High Intermediate), and Level 4 (Advanced). The student’s level is determined by testing his/her vocabulary bank through a level test. IELTS Phraseology has 20 lessons for each level, that is 80 lessons in total for this course. This lesson is intended for students who are aiming to improve their vocabulary and comprehension, in relation to taking English fluency exams just like IELTS
