At QQEnglish, our international staff will guide the student through their first lesson, carefully supporting them and showing them how to use any software like Skype, and also addressing any concerns to better help their understanding before lessons begin properly. We want students to feel comfortable and enjoy their lessons. The first session starts with a small and simple talk and we follow the text together. The teacher will check the student’s English skills and prompt them to form sentences. After the first session, the teacher will propose the optimal curriculum and study plan to suit a student’s level and purpose for learning.
Items to prepare Free Trial Class
PC, Tablet or Smartphone
Anything that can run Skype is fine, but the connection quality is best and most stable with a wired (LAN) connection.
Webcam
A webcam is a camera for making video calls. Although it is possible to attend if you don’t have one, it is much easier and more effective for the student to be able to see the teacher and vice versa.
Headset
A headset is a set of headphones with a microphone attached. Again, it is possible to attend without this device but we strongly recommend a headset as a means of hearing each other clearly.

Flow of free trial lessons and counseling
1. Let's make a reservation
When you register as a free member, you will receive a confirmation email. Click on the link in the email to complete your registration. You may then continue to book a free trial lesson.
Note: In the trial lesson, you may not select your teachers or guidance staff.
2. Guidance from International Staff
Please approve the contact request on Skype sent by QQEnglish staff and your teacher before beginning lessons. Contact requests are displayed in Recent Events on the left side of the Skype main screen. Our International staff will call you five to ten minutes before the lesson time and check the communication status and operation of Skype. We will support you along with your first lesson so that you can enjoy learning with confidence.
3. Level Check & Lesson
After the initial guidance call, the lesson will begin and one of our Filipino teachers will call you. Using pre-downloaded texts, the lesson will be conducted with a teacher in a style that promotes use of simple English conversation until your skill level is assessed.
4. Suggestions for curriculum and price plan
After completing the lesson, the international staff will call you again. Based on the results of the level check and reason for the student’s study, we will propose the optimal curriculum and study plan. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to consult us during this. We will also look to complete the second trial lesson reservation.
Lesson continuation
After your second trial, please apply for your desired learning plan by visiting the My Lesson page. It will be possible to reserve lessons immediately after the application is complete.
